Hot Point PTAC R32 Heat Pump 42" Heat/Cool 7000 BTU - 230/208 Volt 15 Amps

 

Hotpoint PTAC units are easy to install, simply remove the old and slide in the new! The Hotpoint AH12H07D2B PTAC units come with a 15 amp, 208/230 volt power cord included and new installations require a grille and wall sleeve. However, if you are replacing a PTAC unit, your current grille and sleeve may be fine. Hotpoint has a long history as an industry leader in the appliance and comfort control industries.

 

As an owner/operator, you have temperature limiting options that allows you to select one of four temperature ranges for total comfort and peak efficiency. Hotpoint also offers Intuitive Display which allows owners and guests to easily customize their preferred settings on the easy-to-use control panel. The control panel features soft touch pads to easily select the temperature, mode and fan speed. Indicator lights display mode and fan speeds as well as an LCD display for temperature. The unit can display temperature in either °F or °C.

 

In the event of a power failure, the Auto Power Recovery feature on Hotpoint PTAC units will automatically restart your unit in the mode it was in when power was lost. Additionally, they also offer Freeze and Frost Protection to help keep your unit in top top condition. A sensor on the indoor coil monitors the coil temperature and turns the compressor off until the coils warms up. The fan will continue running when this occurs. Hotpoint PTAC units come with a nine-point diagnostic code system to help to easily identify service needs on your unit.

 

The AH12H07D2B is a cooling unit with heat pump and electric back-up heat. It has a cooling capacity of 7,200 BTUs, reverse cycle heat pump with 6,000 BTUs and features and 11.9 EER rating and 3.4 COP. The 15 amp power cord will deliver 2.5 kW of electric back-up heat.
