A thru-the-wall / TTW air conditioner is less intrusive and will not obstruct your window view! The Amana PBC092G00CC is both powerful and quiet. It features 9300 BTUs of cooling power and features a 9.8 EER. It will efficiently cool a room that is about 300 - 400 sq. ft. The Amana TTWs are installed into a wall, using a standard sized 26" wall sleeve and grille (sold separately). Using the attached 8 ft. long, LCDI three-prong power cord, this unit will plug into a standard household outlet. The power cord is a 15 amp, 115V cord with a 5-15P plug face.

The Amana TTW units include several standard and convenient features. A slide-out chassis allows for easy installation as well as easy access for service and maintenance. An easy to use and read electronic touch pad is prominently featured right on the front of the unit. Also included is a remote control for effortless control! Conditioned air is discharged through the front/top with a 4-way adjustable airflow. Slide-out access to the permanent filter with polypropylene mesh makes cleaning the filter easy to remove and re-install. Removing dirt and other outdoor debris lengthens the life of your compressor and other sealed components. To further allow for a complete and fast cleaning of the outdoor coils, the condenser top can be removed.

The Amana PBC092G00CC is also wired thermostat capable, allowing for temperature control of your unit with a standard hardwired thermostat. These include both the non-programmable, PHWT-A150H, and programmable, PHWT-A200, thermostats.

New installations require a wall sleeve and rear grille. Chassis dimensions are 15 5/8" high x 26" wide x 21 7/8" deep. Amana TTW units use a standard 26" wall sleeve (PBWS01A) with solid sides and bottom. They will also fit many competitors’ wall sleeves.
