The Friedrich Vert-I-Pak Vertical Packaged Air System is designed for easy installation in mechanical closets on outside walls, enhancing indoor living spaces with quiet operation and maintaining individual room temperature control. It features a compact footprint with a 52" tall chassis and operates on 208/230 Volts. The VHA24K model offers 21,800 BTUs cooling capacity and 18,500 BTUs heat pump operation, meeting new AHRI standards with high SEER2 (11.9), EER2 (10.6), and HSPF2 (6.3) ratings. It includes a base pan heater for low-ambient operation down to 17°F, automatically switching to electric heat below that temperature.

Installation is simplified with pre-wired, charged, and piped units requiring only electrical hook-up. Options for electric backup heaters include 2.5 Kw (20 Amp), 3.4 Kw (25 Amp), 5.0 Kw (30 Amp), 7.5 Kw (45 Amp), and 10.0 Kw (60 Amp), accommodating various heating needs. The system supports wired and wireless energy management systems and is suitable for extended stay properties, suites, assisted living facilities, and student housing.
